The Depolarizing Within Workshop will share best practices and strategies for lessening the effects of polarization in political conversations. Randy Lioz, director of events at Braver Angels, will teach participants how to be more aware of their “inner polarizer” and how to be critical without demonizing or being dismissive.
Braver Angels is citizens’ movement which seeks to depolarize American politics. Founded after the 2016 presidential election, the organization’s mission is to bring Americans together to bridge the partisan divide and strengthen our democratic republic. Learn more at braverangels.org.
”If feelings about our political adversaries can be represented on a spectrum, our objective is to move Americans from hatred or disdain to respect & appreciation.” – Braver Angels
